Roy's Hawaii Kai

It was my good friend, Joe's Bday. We both enjoy eating...and eating well. I decided to take him out to dinner at Roy's. Here are some tasty delights from that night- some you've seen here and here, but some we tried for the first time! Speaking of...ORDER THE CLAMS. They are amazing. You will want to ask for some bread to dip it in this buttery-shoyu-garlic sauce. AMAZING. Also, ORDER THE BAKED ESCARGOT. Looks like it's the Baked Pesto one from here, but it was updated with a tinge of curry taste. Trust me, you will want to ask for more bread to dip in this too.

Happy 23rd, Joe!!

Frying Dragon- my ultimate all-time favorite at Roy's. THANK YOU FOR THIS, DANNY!

Steamed Washington Manila Clam- Garlic Shoyu White Wine Butter

Ahi "10" Roll- Crispy Soft Shell Crab, Soy Truffle Vinaigrette

Roasted Garlic Herb Butter Baked Escargot- Joe took one before I got a pic!

Hot Iron Seared Misoyaki Butterfish- Forbidden Rice, Sweet Ginger Wasabi Sauce

Roy's Melting Hot Chocolate Soufflé

Here's what I wore for this special event! Mikinola Moto Jacket, Bamboo Sky Bandeau and Evil Twin Asymmetrical Skirt, Wishing Bridge Chevron Earrings, Sam Edelman Heels, and LMS Double-Finger Ring.
